Off the mark!!

A refreshing break....this is what i intend this to be...lets see how far i can actually take it...;)

... and talking about breaks, lemme start off with a "break" that i take everyday (every working day...........well..almost)...my office is inside IIT B campus and me (and few of my friends + co workers) have developed this habit of going for a short (?) walk after lunch (!!!),and the place where we prefer to go is the lakeside...and thats because its there that we get to meet our friends...about a dozen ducks / swans / geese !!! (We are still not very sure of what they actually are!! ;) but i will henceforth refer to the creatures as ducks. )

Now lemme describe them a bit for u...about 8 of them are WHITE...and this WHITE i am talking abt is probly the WHITEST of WHITES possible!!!!there are some 3 or 4 which are both black and white ...we normally give them a visit in the afternoons..and thats the time when they have finished having a nice bath in a small pond (which is very close to the lake)...and all of them are very busy either cleaning themselves , or eating grass , or doing various kinds of yogasanas (which i prefer to call "DUCKasanas"!!)..so u may find a duck standing on one leg,or a duck sitting with its eyes closed and its neck turned alomst 180 degrees back. The amazing thing is that their necks are so flexible that almost every part of the body is reachable by the beak!!!

All said and done...the relationship is still "one sided"!!:( ...the idiots still dont realise that we mean no harm....as soon as they see us approaching , they start screaming at the top of their voices, the length of their necks suddenly gets multiplied by a factor of three ..and under pressure , they start eating grass at 10 times the original rate!!!!!But we r not gonna give up....

Wow!!!that seems to be a quite big one for a first time blogger!!!!Hopefully i havent got out for a duck!!!!;)

Geese or ducks, they are big fat birds needing solid exercise. They are too obese to fly now...
